Lakeside Varsity Dragons Defeats Struthers on comeback win for Senior Night

The Lakeside Lady Dragons celebrated their senior Quinn Noble by delivering a come from behind victory over Struthers and clinch the 12-11 win.
Lyla Hamilton drove in four runs on four hits to lead Lakeside Varsity Dragons past Struthers 12-11 on Thursday. Hamilton singled in the second inning, scoring two runs, and doubled in the fourth inning, scoring two.
Bats blistered as Lakeside Varsity Dragons collected 10 hits and Struthers tallied 10 in the high-scoring game.
Struthers got on the board in the top of the first inning after Hannah Susany singled, scoring one run, Emily McDowell singled, scoring two runs, Addison Liptak singled, scoring two runs, and Riley Guy grounded out, scoring one run.
Struthers added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Livia Waback singled to center field, Vivian Marker singled down the left field line, and Struthers scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.
Lakeside Varsity Dragons flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the sixth, scoring five runs on five hits to take the lead, 12-11. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Keeley Faenza that drove in two.
Sami Murphy pitched four innings in relief for Lakeside Varsity Dragons. The hurler gave up three hits and two runs (one earned) while, striking out five and walking three.
