Lemponen is State Bound! Wins District Championship!

NE-GD1-District-ResultsAllBowlers (1) Sophomore Nicole Lemponen became the first bowler in Lakeside history to qualify for the OHSAA State Tournament. Lemponen also became the first District Champion in school history with a 662 three-game series. Her high game for the day was 245. She will compete in the state tournament on March 7th at Wayne Webb

Lemponen Second Straight All-Tournament Team

Congrats to sophomore Nicole Lemponen on making the All-Tournament team for the second straight week at the YSU Holiday Tournament! She was the second leading scorer this week, after placing first at the Turkey Classic Kick-off Tournament last Saturday. The Bowling teams take on Wickliffe at Lakeshore Lanes on Thursday at 4pm.

Boys and Girls Bowling competed in the Division I District Tournament at Wickliffe Lanes on Saturday. Lemponen Leads the Way at Brush Tournament

Freshman Nicole Lemponen continued her outstanding season by making the All-Tournament team at the Brush Arc Invitational on Monday. She was the leading scorer for the girls tournament with a three-game series of 524, finishing 44 pins ahead of second place.
