Three Dragons Advance to Districts

This past Saturday the Dragons competed in the Sectional Wrestling Tournament at Willoughby South High School. Seven wrestlers competed for Lakeside, with four them finishing in the top six of their respective weight classes. Wannett Post Third Place Finish at EOWL

FullBrackets Ethan Wannett improved to 31-6 on the season and finished in third place at the competitive EOWL Championship. Lagoa, Wannett Have Successful Tournaments

Jacob Lagoa and Ethan Wannett continue to be the catalyst for the return of Lakeside Wrestling. Lagoa finished second on Saturday at Brecksville Holiday Tournament falling to Carson Kharchla (Olentangy Liberty), who is believed to be the best pound-for-pound wrestler in the state. Junior Jacob Lagoa is recognized by BoroFan as the #1 ranked wrestler in the Class of 2020. He is now rising up the Flo Wrestling National Rankings.
