Multiple Teams · Anservitz, Hamilton Attend CVC Sportsmanship Luncheon

Seniors Johnny Anservitz and Mackenzie Hamilton, both three-sport athletes with 18 letters between them were chosen to attend the 2019 CVC Sportsmanship Luncheon. This was the third event Dragon athletes have attended with impending entrance into the conference in 2019-20, previously athletes attended a Positive Coaching Alliance training and a Student Leadership Conference with Ted Weise. The event included athletes from all 22 conference schools receiving a brief introduction/plaque, keynote speaker John Kampf of the News-Herald, and catered meal from Dino’s Catering. It was an excellent opportunity to showcase two of the premier athletes at Lakeside High School.

Coaches Quote:

Johnny is the type of young man that we want to build our program around here at Lakeside. He is a high character student athlete that works extremely hard to be his best academically, athletically, and socially at LHS and out in the community. Johnny shows up every day (in season and off season) works his tail off, asks questions and leads his teammates by example. – Buzz Edwards, Head Football Coach
