Bio:  Taylor is a senior at Lakeside HS. She enjoys learning languages, playing volleyball, and making a difference around her community.

What are your plans after graduation? “Attend NYU with a double major in childhood education and international relations.”


What is your favorite class? “American Sign Language at KSU Ashtabula.”


What do you enjoy most about playing volleyball? “The feeling you get from making a great play and hearing the cheers from the stands.”


What type of volunteer work are you involved in within your community? “I’m always volunteering for events at my school through National Honor Society or senior leadership. I’m also a Big Sister for Big Brothers + Big Sisters.”


What is the most memorable moment in your scholastic career? “Traveling to Europe with my AP European class.”


What is your favorite sports related movie?  “Remember the Titans, hands down!”


Do you have any pre-game/match/meet rituals? “We run out as a team to our warm-up CD.”


Who is your role model? “My mom, Kristine.”


Do you have any special talents or is there something surprising about you that others might not know about you? “I can speak four languages.”


If you could be a cartoon character, who would you be? “Moana – because she is determined and passionate.”


What is your favorite food? “Mac-n-Cheese and shrimp.”

Do you have a field of study already chosen when you go to college? Why that field? “Education and International Relations, because I want to make a difference in children’s lives and the world!”
